From Byron Bay to Baxter Barn

WEDDING

Jess & Elaine's wedding celebrations!

Jess and Elaine’s wedding was a reflection of each of their personalities while including all of their besties to be a part of the day.

Greek dancing, sparkler send-off, frivolity, and loads of flowers were the highlights of their big day. Jess and Elaine love getting away so they went on their annual trip to Byron Bay that’s where the marriage journey began! Under the yellow sun, shining at its brightest, Elaine popped the question to Jess in front of the gorgeous view by the lighthouse. Jess was taken by surprise and never saw it coming. It was all so romantic when Elaine asked Jess to get some panadol from her bag but rather she found the beautiful ring inside. She said yes, of course!

Skip forward two years and Jess and Elaine said “I Do” to one another at the ever so fabulous Baxter Barn. The historic venue is where rustic meets modern. It is a place filled with charm and alluring beauty. Jess and Elaine made sure they were surrounded by their closest friends to celebrate the happiest moments of their life at Baxter Barn.

Jess and Elaine decided to do a ‘first-look’ , a common theme for couples these days to alleviate  some of the nerves and share that first moment together just the two of them. Both Jess and Elaine were blind-folded and were lead down the footpath to the red rock at Mornington beach. They saw each other in their wedding attires and fell in love all over again. Jess wore a beautiful fitted gown and Elaine was wearing an elegant pant suit.

Their ceremony was very personal and heart-warming as it involved their close-friend Rita officiating their big moment. Jess and Elaine exchanged vows that they had written for each other in a moment of gratitude and sharing love. The bridal boutique was done by Made with Love. Elaine’s look was sophisticated, whilst Jess went for an exquisite look with a gorgeous string flowers around her chignon. Their hair and make-up was done by Ellegant You.

Jess and Elaine’s celebration was definitely personalised. Their flowers were done by Elaine’s friend Elise from Petals by Elise, whom helped bring Elaine’s vision to life. Their close friend Dave, who is a musician, sang one of their favorite songs by Ziggy Alberts to commemorate those who had passed away and couldn’t be there. It was one of the most sentimental moments from the wedding. The rest of the entertainment was provided by Mercury DJ, Whom played “The Heart is a Muscle” by Gang of Youths as Jess walked down the aisle with her father.

Thanks to Elaine’s Greek heritage, there were a lot of Greek dancing, including none other, the Zorba! This was followed by a lot of other fun Greek traditions that brought in the awesome vibes amongst everyone. These timeless moments were captured and recorded by Four by Four Films so that they could be present in the moment and re-live their admirable experiences forever. Their wedding stylist was Wild Heart Events who did an amazing job at making their dream wedding beyond flawless.

Jess and Elaine’s wedding was filled with love, joy and close friends. It was perhaps the most memorable day in their lives and they lived it to its fullest. So I wish two of my very good friends for their hearts to be filled with more love than they could ever have imagined.
